About Tim Beetz
A dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in teaching and a proven track record in leading on Science education. As the Head of Science for 8 years, I consistently drove student outcomes to meet and exceed national averages, with positive value added scores for student progress.
My journey in education has been deeply fulfilling. I serve as a GCSE Science examiner, which has enriched my insight into the shortcomings of students when it comes to exam technique and gaps in knowledge and skills, In addition to my school based roles, I have been actively tutoring students for a number of years, helping them not only understand complex scientific concepts but also develop confidence and a strategic approach to exam questions.
For the past few years, I have been an education consultant during which time I have supported over 25 schools across the country. I lead on the delivery of Science masterclasses, online tutorials, conferences and staff training. My commitment is to empower both educators and students to reach their highest potential, fostering an environment where curiosity and critical thinking thrive.
I believe that every student deserves the best education, and I am dedicated to making that a reality.
